Spot on by @ciaranm.bsky.social on #BBCToday. The anthropic Claude AI "hack" feels like a "keeping up with the Jones" press release after #OpenAI and @hf.co "hack" more than any meaningful development or news. It was a configuration error. Though I have no doubt the #FUD increase will be real!

And don't get me started on the #AerLingus boarding procedure of getting people scanned at the gate but keeping the doors to the gate closed. "Kettling" your passengers is a sure way to piss everyone off before the flight. Even #Ryanair don't needlessly aggravate with such a step.
The woeful lack of integration between #BritishAirways and #AerLingus (both owned by #IAG) is almost impressive; - can buy but not manage ticket in respective app - seat selection? Sure why would you need that? - Lounge Access (even greater terms and conditions apply than at other IAG airlines).

My opinions may be important to you #BritishAirways but my time clearly isn't! 1. 15 minutes is not quick. Make it much shorter and you may capture higher response rate. 2. If you are going to "value" people's time, prove it! Reward or compensate them! Prize draws, a small number of avios etc.

The British Army asserts there are 3 components of fighting power. Physical (kit and personnel), conceptual (how/method) and Moral (rigthtousness).The moral is a key part and Iran unilaterally closing the straits in the absence of an "imminent threat" would have undermined its own ethical self view.

The key nugget of news for me today is that #Ukraine have struck a Russian oil facility in the Caspian sea. While Putin strikes apartment blocks, pensioner queues and energy infrastructure the Ukrainians remain laser focused on hitting the Russians where it hurts most! #Russia #SlavaUkraini
