Finished!!! First big #mosaiccrochet project pattern modified from Juniper and Oakes Nordic Star. I’m obsessed. #crochet #fiberarts

Y’all I thrifted this zebra for my newly updated bathroom, it’s the best $6 I’ve spent in awhile. It just stares at you and judges while you pee and has this knowing little smirk. TF is going on here? Looks like an uncomfortable tag that needs to be ripped off a new shirt 😂.

Screen shot that zooms in on the collar of one of the four men in the original pic. The tie appears to be a black bow tie tied sideways so the sides of the bow are at the top and bottom. There are additional folds of fabric that make it look kind of like your grandma gift wrapped it? They seem fit brush up against the man’s neck above the collar uncomfortably.

They can be! Not granny squares but I’ve been doing C2C and this stitch has a similar calming repetition and aesthetic. It’s meditative and I’m enjoying it very much.

The fact that hate group #AutismSpeaks asks for donations three different ways in the first three clicks of entering website but is radio silence on any defense of autistic ppl/dispute of the comments made by RFK on autism should tell you everything you need to know about that horrible organization.

Pulled up my driveway, a new #bird I haven’t seen here b4 caught my eye. Too big for a crow, all black, immediately thought, #raven? Sat for awhile, looked from different angles as it pecked at insects. Scanned an image search, listened to recorded bird calls. Remembered hearing a warble recently.

I don’t give a fuck.

Made soup from dried beans and pairing with buttered saltines like we did when I was a kid 😂😍. Seriously good stuff for this soup weather day though. I think adding chicken makes it a cheat compared to the super budget friendly soups of my childhood but just a little trying for enough protein.
