Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander
@goodlander
Proudly representing New Hampshire's Second District.
Great to meet with my dear friend Rep. Charlie Bass and the team at C&S Wholesale Grocers. Grateful to continue these conversations about the importance of supplying our military commissaries that serve our servicemembers and military families in New Hampshire and around the country.
We need accountability and independent investigations for the killings of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo and Johan Sebastian Guerrero. Now.

It’s my mission in Congress to ensure that veterans have access to the services, benefits, and healthcare they have earned. This clinic will deliver quality care to these brave American heroes, and I am proud to stand with our partners across NH to get our veterans the care they need.
AI has enormous potential—but only if small businesses can actually use it. In today’s hearing, I pressed AI and tech experts on what it will take to help small businesses responsibly adopt this technology, compete fairly, and ensure the biggest players don’t get to dictate their future.
Veterans deserve answers. At yesterday’s hearing, I pressed VA leadership on VA staffing cuts that are costing America’s veterans and putting the timely, accurate delivery of veterans benefits at risk.
I am heartbroken by the killing of Joan Sebastian Guerrero. We need a full, independent, public, and swift investigation and accountability. Now. Read my full statement below⬇️
In the year since President Trump made the biggest cuts to healthcare in American history, millions of people have been priced out of their healthcare. I will not quit in the fight to make sure every American gets the healthcare they need.
I hear this question everywhere I go: "What can we do?" Now more than ever, we must stay engaged, stay organized, and never underestimate the power of people working together to strengthen our democracy.
“It is hard from a distance to imagine how anyone would be orchestrating and executing a reorganization plan without actually coming here and talking to the people…You’ve got to see it…Because you just can’t allow these forests, which can’t be recreated, to be put on the chopping block.” 📝InDepth NH
No corporation is above the law. From my time in the Antitrust Division at the Department of Justice to now as your Congresswoman, I will always hold powerful corporations accountable, strengthen competition, and lower costs for hardworking families.
Great conversations with health care leaders and advocates about expanding access to care and improving the quality of life for patients across New Hampshire. I'll never stop fighting for a health care system that puts people first.
President Trump’s wars of choice have jacked up costs for every American.
In New Hampshire, we need to build more housing, and we need to do it fast. Grateful to meet with housing advocates, builders, and business leaders to discuss how we can build more homes, lower costs, and bring the American Dream back within reach for Granite Staters.
On the eve of the NATO summit, I was grateful to meet with Finnish Ambassador Leena-Kaisa Mikkola to discuss the strong partnership between the United States and Finland, the importance of NATO, and the shared democratic values that unite our countries. 🇺🇸🇫🇮
Dental care is healthcare. No American should be living with untreated dental pain because they can't afford care. Grateful to join Forrest and Strategies for Disability Equity to hear directly from Granite Staters about how we cut red tape and break down the barriers to care.
250 years ago, patriots declared that all are created equal. The Declaration of Independence is a promise that has always called each generation to build a more perfect Union. Today, we celebrate that promise—and recommit ourselves to the work of making it real. Happy 250th Birthday🇺🇸
The challenges facing New Hampshire are too important for politics as usual. From my very first day in Congress, I’ve worked to bring people together to lower costs and crush corruption. Our bipartisan housing bill is on its way to becoming law—and we’re just getting started.
In America, NO ONE should be profiteering from public trust.
No small business should be forced to hire an army of lawyers to get money back that was corruptly taken from them by President Trump’s tariffs. I will not stop pressing this Administration until small businesses get their money back — money that never should have been taken in the first place.
We took the fight against President Trump’s corrupt, costly, and unconstitutional tariffs all the way to the Supreme Court — and we won. The fight continues, and I will not quit until every American who was unconstitutionally taxed gets the refund they deserve.
During an affordability crisis, the President is profiteering on decisions he is making as Commander-in-Chief. It’s outrageous, and it’s got to stop. Our bipartisan bill would ban senior officials, including the President, from cashing in on public service.
American citizenship cannot be ripped away by presidential decree. Our Constitution could not be clearer: if you were born in America, you are an American citizen.
Keeping our kids and communities safe isn’t negotiable. I will not stop fighting for commonsense, constitutional reforms that will save lives — from universal background checks to Red Flag laws to safe storage to community violence intervention programs.
Under current law, veterans are forced to offset earned retirement pay simply because their injuries ended their careers. The Major Richard Star Act would right this wrong by eliminating this outrageous offset. Time to get it done. Now. 🇺🇸
Today is a victory for the Constitution. Citizenship cannot be stripped away by presidential decree. Thank you to the ACLU of NH for leading this important fight. 🇺🇸
Today, the Supreme Court affirmed what our Constitution has made plain for more than 150 years: if you are born in the United States and subject to its jurisdiction, you are an American citizen. Read my full statement here⬇️
Public trust in our military is earned through transparency and accountability. A free and independent press is mission-critical to that indispensable mission. That's why I'm fighting to end the Pentagon’s war on the free press and protect your taxpayer dollars.
