I am tired, so tired, of apologizing to cis people for who I am. My life is one long endless apology to cis people, for being different, for being visible. Even that isn’t enough. Even just quietly being myself and asking for nothing from them isn’t enough.
Genuinely how can you e have hope when the richest and most powerful people on earth are salivating at ending trans care entirely? If there’s any lesson of the 21st century it is that only elite consensus matters in policy outcomes, not mass opinion. You win or lose based on the elites you convert
