The follow-up track, Shedbuilding, didn’t do as well for Elvis Costello as Shipbuilding did.

Breeze blocks, various bits of pre-shed and an (optimistic) spirit level arranged around a clear, slabbed space…

The floor is now down on the breeze blocks. The spirit level is nowhere to be seen - does that mean it did its job out it has been abandoned (too optimistic).

The bits of shed are now arranged in order around the floor awaiting assembly.

Me & Ralph have been for his morning plod. Now he’s hiding from the sun (waiting for a visitor? 😉) Have demolished part of the old shed, ahead of new shed delivery midweek. Am now popping over to see little brother and deliver his birthday present. Looking forward to car aircon & tunes.

I've spent most of the last few years making music in the box. I have no problem with that - I'm comfortable there, I'm still learning new stuff in Ableton & I'll carry on. But I want to do *something* with my small collection of hardware. So it has to be out so I can grab & go [1/2]

On Thursday night @ 8pm BST I shall be sat here pressing play on a set that has been pieced together since my last streamed gig in April. [1/5]

Studio Gribbly in "I've spent all my time getting this set together, and have run out of time to sort all my wires and where things sesiblly sit" mode.

I've kind of got used to playing the set with everything on top of each other like this, and muscle memory is starting to kick in - so it's staying like it is. Though a couple of tracks have me a bit squished!

Up early again. I now have an ambient-y intro. I have an idea of what to do in-between this intro and the ending I posted about yesterday. I’ll hopefully get some time today to start fitting some jigsaw pieces of ideas together into a set…
