responding to a prompt to tell the duck & grape joke from Stephen King's post on x, Grant posts the following on discord:

Okay
A duck walks into a bar, and says "Got any grapes?"
Bartender says no.
The duck leaves.
Where the duck goes, no one knows, but the next day, once again, the duck shows.
"Got any grapes?" quacks the duck to the familiar bartender.
"Did you not hear me the first time!? I said no grapes. And if you ask me a third time, I'll nail your fucking beak to the bar. Now scram."
The duck understands a threat when its been issued, so out waddles the duck.
The bitter rain outside seems to lather the duck in failure but the bartender has exactly as much sympathy for the duck as he has grapes, which is none.
Wouldn't you know it,
the next day,
that same duck arrives at that same bartender's shift
"Got any hammers?" asks the duck
"Am I hardware store? No! Beat it!"
The duck leaves - but then right at the door, he turns around and with a twinkle in their eye and a mischievous grin upon their beak - the duck asks -
"So then. Got any grapes?"

Postscript: The bartender hung himself that night from the rafters. He left no note, but he did leave out ... a bowl of grapes.

it wasn't until the Switch 2 that Nintendo felt like they had the graphical capabilities needed to properly render Link's toes as the developers originally intended

three screenshots - Ocarina of Time on N64; the remake on 3DS; and the upcoming remake on Switch 2 - of Link sleeping in his bed at the beginning of the game. Only in the Switch 2 screenshot does Link not wear boots.
