Something that we were really pleased to see while we were in Government was the free schoolbooks scheme But we know that many schools are insisting that students have laptops and tablets. Along with uniforms, voluntary contributions and other costs, that puts a lot of pressure on many parents.
We are delighted to support the SF motion which would offer protection to artists against AI mining their work without recognition, payment or permission. And we got to catch up with @catherinemartin.bsky.social who was in Leinster House today with @ivorsacademy.bsky.social ahead of the motion.
