Banning official Pride participation is a political choice, not neutrality. Saying people can attend “personally” still means the institution is only comfortable with LGBTQIA+ visibility when it is unofficial, individual, and quietly contained.

Donaldson preached morality while survivors were left to battle rape myths in court. That hypocrisy is staggering, and unforgivable. Northern Ireland must finally implement the Gillen Review in full and protect survivors, not a stale political culture.
