End of June was my first Warhammer tournament game. Wild time trying to get through everything, lots of confusion, but had fun with everyone who were all super cordial and forgiving. Went 1-2 but learned a lot about different armies. #40k #warhammer #miniatures #chaosspacemarines #opr

A picture of my final army; demon prince with wings and tzagula, 2x5 termies, 1x5 Havocs, 1x2 Obliterators, and the leaders of 3x10 cultists.

Game one, a swarm of teal termaguants wraps the corner on cultists after the demon prince saved a group of havocs from another swarm.

Game 2 vs Custodes, fighting for the center while the bikes prepare to charge the terminators.

Game three vs World Eaters, Angron looks as 8 bound charge and take out Havocs turn one, while cultusts spread out for objectives and termies ready to drop and engage via warp portal

Thought I'd share a few of my games and coolest pics for #MayTheFourth I'm finally really getting a feel for #legion and still really digging CIS. I've even won like 2 games so far out of like 8! If nothing else it's nice to paint some colorful robots. #starwars #minipainting #minigaming

A long shot of the first showing of the AAT at the table, surrounded by supporting troopers, and covering half the table while everyone else moves in. The AAT performed great but in neither game was there much anti armor. It's first kill was a wookie fluttercraft that had not performed great at all for my friend. My friend still totally rocked me round one here with Republic, then got fairly stomped when he ran Shadow Syndicate.

Anakin overextends and finds himself surrounded by droids. He does not make it out alive, but his sacrifice ensures a republic victory as i am bad at playing the objective like for real i gotta not go for the kill no matter how scary Jedi are. Kalani since then has only ever fired his blaster twice.

My third game ever, pushing the point against a dug in Iden and Din. Off camera, an ATST is exploding due to a B1 crew with a single rocket, snowtroopers are being utterly devastated by a single droideka. This would be my first win! Iden didn't perish and neither did the B2 leader, but that objective prevented any imperial scoring

Full shot of the seperatist starter box. Started in November and finished in February. Still really happy with too-many-armed Grevious. The B2s have performed so well since that I've gotten another box now. I should give that all some more basing someday.

These guys have been waiting for years but they're finally done up! They're change furies from OPR but lately I'll probably be running them as proxy geonosians for legion. I think they look mundane alien enough to work. Bonus for saber crystals too #nerdlings #minipainting #starwarslegion #OPR

A flock of humanoid birds, change furies from OPR, painted different shades of blue, armored silver, on gray rocks and brown rocky desert. Some rocks have colorful crystals that I'm going to pretend are kyber crystals. They're resin and really they'll totally blow up if dropped so here's hoping.

Seperatist AAT tank from Star War, tan with darker shades of brown to color it, dirty engines with smoke and rust down a few sides. It has blue seperatist iconography and a nice bright blue center bubble with a blue armed b1 commanding it.

A full set of Magnaguard droids from starwars with gun metal bodies, purple weapons and desert camo cloaks. If you want specifics the base was ap speed paint bone, vallejo ochre brown, and then that same brown mixed with ap speed paint desolate brown.

4 droideka from star wars, rolly polly robots with tripod legs. These are colored thr standard bronze, but has teal vertigris rust patterns as they roll around thier dusty brown bases.

Zoom in on the two standing droids. Anyone else get self conscious when placing details and feeling they're unbalanced compared to whats on other bases?

Zoom in on the two rolling robots, one with an experimental colored dirt that honestly used up too much paint for my liking. I hear ink is the way to go for that thing.

Comic book super hero Grevious isnt real, he cant hurt you- WIP while waiting on this step to dry. Again always love the super bright versions of stuff that shows up in the middle of a project.

General Grevious, a freaky cyborg alien warrior, has way too many arms and sharp, bright primary colors of red and blue on the cape and bright silver all on the body.

I've also got the Star Wars Legion Seperatist Starter Box and there's like 30 B1 droids in there. Starting today on those and I'm 4 down! This is gonna take a while.... But on the plus side now that I got a use for Tamiya Cement it is soooooo fucking good like I've straight been missing out.

I finally have all of my miniatures from home so I'm painting up some Old World and OPR Rat Ogres and I do just love how silly they look just throwing on the initial colors. I'm trying to be less scared of using opaques, but it should turn out just fine.

Holiday cookie colored rat ogres from OPR and GW Old World, painted bright pink skin, cookie brown fur and green-silver metallic with the rest still being primed white. The attitude difference between the two is really quite funny that there's going to be the one slightly sane giant ratto hanging out with two absolute psychoes obviously hopped up on warpstone. Maybe I'll get more giant rattos in the future once I figure out what army I really want out of them.

Whole bunch of hobby stuff, but nothing quite super complete. Got a Bamboo A1 printer up with a 0.2mm nozzle and honestly it's nearly as good as resin and as a casual little hobbyist it's absolutely perfect for any little minis I want. Very very happy with the results

Two change demon heroes from One Page Rules, a fancy bird man with a cane hiding a dagger behind his back. The left was done with a 0.4mm nozzle and the right with 0.2mm. The difference in quality of the print is quite noticable! Had to paint up the left one in order to actually pick out any details of it.
