so we've still got to find a replacement cable, but while we've got the bad cable cleaned up and working again (for now) I'm now moving on to a stabilizer replenisher pump that is stuck on, even though the CPU thinks its not.
The Loading Cover Door sensor signal wasnt making it back to the main board (this initiates the processing cycle). Celanor and I resolved a low 5v rail coming from a secondary PSU and traced the bad signal to a corroded cable that runs 3 feet from the loading breakout board down to the main.
A photo lab near me had this Noritsu V50 sitting dead in their lab for over a year and I convinced them to let me try and take a stab at fixing it. Earlier this week, with the electrical troubleshooting help of the lovely @celanor.org, we finally got it accepting leader cards and rolls.

Tryna hack out a common 07 wrx emissions issue. Driver's side air pump switching valve. by count of pins in the connector, this is the one containing a baro sensor. Also looks like its not restorable, by me anyway. this one is the easier of the two to pull. book says to pull manifold for the other

Some of that VPS 4x5 blasted at iso 12 I've got a lot to learn abt how negative film exposes.
Three exposure tests, taken on a day where the lighting was changing very rapidly. Averaging for iso 12, 25, 50. At first I thought that 12 looked the best since it retained the most shadow detail, but taking some more evenly lit scenes in the following weeks, iso 12 blew out my colors into pastel.
