It may not be #histscalemodels but that's the most fun I have had at the bench for quite a while. It may be inappropriate but I have a sister for #ItaliaGB.
Sometimes I just want to glue things together. A break from the Border Zero, a "Superior" kit from Matchbox. No paint, just assembly. It was useful in teaching me to be more precise with removal from the sprue and applying the cement as I didn't want to mar the glossy sheen.
Only built the one, it went together like a dream. 2 in the stash. You are quite right, the instruction booklet is a work of art.

Could any of the Japanese modellers or Zero experts help me with this. Decals for Border's 1/35 Nakajima A6M2b. Instructions say 16 or 17, which is correct? Google lens hasn't helped. #histscalemodels

F4U-7 Corsair, Flottille 15 F, Aeronavale over Suez 1956. Not a great kit, inaccurate in places, and not my best work. Hindered by my inability to read correctly. The deep sea blue is AK Lacquer, which should be airbrush only. Cue 2 wrecked traditional brushes. #BastilleBuild #histscalemodels
