To this day, I still think "Saving Private Ryan" would be perfect and deranged for this. Only human isn't even Private Ryan. Should be Ed Burns.

Sad when the happiest thing that's happened lately is my cat ate her new probiotic. Seriously, Gally is very picky and adverse to pretty much anything new. Cat tax to show this chaos fur goblin.

Pleasant surprise tonight. Discovered I had the same book from different years. "Up Front" by Bill Mauldin, one copy from 1945, the other from 2000. Recommend it for anyone wanting a unique perspective on the US GI from WW2.
