I had the pleasure of spending the weekend at a Creation Care retreat. My presentation on the urban environment was well received, and I rediscovered a passion for this topic that I’d almost forgotten. The Diocese of Colorado’s camp & conference center isn’t a bad place to do something like this. ⚓️

The rector of the parish my family and I visited this weekend while on vacation (St Peter’s of the Valley, Basalt, CO) has been known to bless the nearby ski slopes. A photo of her in full gear has appeared on the cover of the diocesan magazine and hangs in the parish hall.

On vacation this weekend, so my family & I visited the wonderful clergy & people of St Peter’s of the Valley in Basalt, CO. The service was outdoors in their garden where it got buzzed by low flying hawk (or was it the Holy Spirit?) & was followed by an ice cream social. A beautiful day in all!
