My cat Bella keeping an eye on the woods. She’s going to let me know if we should hide.
She’s declawed. She’s 16 years old. She’s very affectionate & follows me all over my apartment. I did not think I wanted a cat but turns out I did.
Happy Nurses Week I loved all the years I was an active nurse, over 45 years doing direct patient care.
Rest in peace,Big D had a dramatic decline 12 hours after this picture was taken & was euthanized at home in my arms. I adopted him 11/25 knowing he was 16 with advanced heart failure, neuro deficits, dementia, deaf & poor eyesight. I provided a loving, dignified end to a good boy. I miss him.
My poor old guy doesn’t feel good tonight. I’m staying awake with him until he goes to sleep. He’s got congestive heart failure & it’s wearing him out. The goal is comfort. I gave him an extra dose of lasix & his cbd drops & hit him with some of my oxygen until he was less restless.
Secretary Clinton in 1995 at the world women’s conference in China. The rightwing didn’t like her before that but when she attended that conference in the face of enormous criticism, they really hated her. I remember it, the outrage & blowback but so many women around the world were validated.
I’m going to be grooming my raggedy dog during the state of the union. He’s a mess.
I recently adopted an 11 lb shih ztu, I always had big dogs, at least 50lbs but this old man needed a place to land. He’s a mess.
A Black woman from Texas, I’m set off now. These people trying to diminish Rep Crockett aren’t new, it’s their MO, lots of talk until it comes to getting behind someone & then they fall back to who they feel comfortable with, Black women make them uncomfortable.
I saw Gladys Knight show yesterday. Her music was so much part of the background of my youth, I looked back with happy memories of that time of being in love for the 1st time. Thank You Ms Knight.
