Big part of my childhood was in Steam’s train sale, down from £12 to about £3, had to pick it up
With the purchase of a JVM Gaiety chassis from a friend, I now have all the parts I need to build up a pannier My initial plan was so put this on a Triang Jinty chassis, but I have a spare motor on hand already, and the chassis was only a fiver

Tested the Bulldog at the club, runs great forward, motor isn’t fully secure and jumps up in reverse though The front pony also doesn’t have enough room to fully pivot, and so it can’t navigate 2nd radius curves Glad I’m just painting it, I wouldn’t know where to start on the repairs
I stayed up until 4am doing this lmao Need to tidy up the tender a little

I usually late how I look but grandma got me some clothes from a charity shop and I actually feel kinda fem for once??? I reckon if I shave and wash my hair I’ll look even better First time I’ve been even slightly proud of how I look in quite some time
The first few coats are on the Bulldog, I’ll likely leave it a few days before I do the smokebox

I fucking hate numbering But alas, my DoubleM Thomas is now lined, and ready for a satin coat, I just need to finish decalling the GVT tram, and then I’ll give them both clear coats
I’m interested to see how they scale up to O gauge, would like to see a modern take on this conversion on a similar toy, taken from a model train magazine from some years ago (not sure which magazine or issue)
