Have been out of bed for almost half an hour and chased all the birds out of the yard (no squizzers! Weird but welcome). So am now exhausted and on to the day’s main task - won’t looking.

The face of a dog who scammed a second dinner 10 minutes ago (his human fed him on her way out to prune in the front yard - he downed that bowl immediately then brought all the drama so his human’s mommy fed him again thinking his human had forgotten). Now he’s trying for a pork sandwich.

Make your humans combine the two Hamish!!! Every coffee table/ottoman in our house doubles as a comfy bed/den so I am both still in the centre of everything but also able to nap in style with my frens. But I’m definitely not spoiled 😉.

My human’s mommy has a ham sandwich and it’s 5 minutes until my dinner time so her sandwich must therefore be my dinner. My logic is unassailable.

There’s a boil water advisory in my town (the water tower lost pressure) - so I’m just going to nap to preserve energy as well as water. Cannot be too careful about these things 😉🤭.

Frens - I am currently the saddest pupper in the whole wide world. My human is holding her phone in one hand and a piece of pizza in her left (gloating about pizza for breakfast …). She tells me I have already had my brekkie 😩.

I got to go to a winery today! My human says I’m still too young to drink but the nice man from the winery gave me treatos and the people at the table next door loved on me. Six more years and I’ll get my own tasting flight 🥂.

A throw back to my gloriously messy look last summer when I didn’t have to get groomed or even bathed after surgery. I revelled in it and milked every second.

I’m definitely not looking at my human today. Not just WLW but also retribution day as I’m just home from being GROOMED 😳😱😩. The grooming lady did say I was very well behaves today (except for when she tried to steal my ear fluff- was not having that).

Exhausting day. Two walks, a break in attempt at the neighbours’ (one day they’ll invite me in …), supervised the house cleaning and collection of lawn debris from yesterday’s storm and now it’s the long wait until dinner. Mondays amiright?!
