Little Zeph is unfortunately a poorly boy - he has fleas (poo ingrained into his fur, he's had them for ages) and is very undersized We gave him a bath yesterday and he's getting lots of gravy with his dinners to keep his fluids up And lots of big cuddles. Vet on Monday to get him properly assessed

A very small black kitten is purritoed in a large T-shirt. His nose has a slightly off-centre white stripe which runs up between his eyes and smears sideways into the base of his right-hand whiskers. His whiskers and eyebrows are white and his ears are approximately three times too large for his face.

Hats off to Young'un this week, who, as well as parenting her new furry toddler, has managed to fulfil a commission for an 80th birthday cake for her friend's Grandad. It was needed for Saturday so she decorated it between 19pm and midnight on Friday so that the buttercream didn't melt everywhere!

Reverse journey to collect Little Car... Good job I took my jacket because I did indeed "need it later"; bright, fairly warm sunshine on the walk to the station turned to thick cloud and a chilly wind by the time I came out of Aldi.
