Central concept: There are different forms of transparency, building on the work of Karlsson (among others). We use 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 as a central concept here. It refers to how and why a news item was produced, such as explaining why a story was published, how it was sourced and framed.
