With cuts to SNAP, rising grocery prices & folks losing their jobs, our local food pantries have increased demand. Let's help them to help our neighbors and community members in need! On Sat, Aug 8th from 11am to 3pm drop off non-perishable food items at Ashland Townhall & River's Edge Coffee Co.
Our next meeting is Sun, July 12 at 4pm The Gathering Place at RVA Around the Table (155 Junction Drive). Our special topic is immigration rights with a focus on the Latino community. It will be a panel discussion with several special guest speakers. We'll also have various yard signs available!

We just mailed our last ones, and guess what? The Hanover Democratic Committee has sent out 2,000 postcards to voters across Virginia reminding them to VOTE YES to fight back against MAGA cruelty, corruption, chaos, high prices, and incompetence.
Another 2nd Sunday of the month, another PACKED HDC meeting on a beautiful spring afternoon. We had a great training from Central Virginia Indivisible re how to best observe & help when the ICE Gestapo comes to town. And folks are FIRED up to Vote YES on the redistricting constitutional amendment!
We had a GREAT Super Saturday Vote YES picnic yesterday with a great turnout. Thanks, everyone, who came out!

The April HDC General Meeting will be on Sun Apr 12 at 4pm at The Gathering Place at RVA Around the Table (155 Junction Dr, Ashland). Our Chair will provide updates and we'll have an ICE Observer Training. Yard signs in support of the Redistricting Constitutional Amendment will be available.

Yesterday was the 1st day of Early Voting in the VOTE YES campaign to fight back against MAGA rigging of our elections. Thank you to everyone who got out to vote & to our poll greeters! VOTE EARLY at the Hanover County Complex until Apr 18th! Election Day is Apr 21st at your regular polling place.
