An exceptional Aurora Orchestra performance of Mahler's 1st at #BBCProms this evening. Great to have a theatrical explainer as the first half. Would love to see more things like that to make classical musical accessible. The Listening Service is much missed.

Here at Camden Council as local election results will start to trickle through shortly. I was here two years ago as Keir Starmer won Labour's landslide nationally. Today the leader of the council looks set to lose his seat in a traditionally safe area. What a turnaround.
Glorious sunshine at Aggborough for the final game of the normal season, against a South Shields side who could win the league if results go their way. Joe Foulkes just awarded Player of the Season. A lovely day of football in prospect.
A very poor England lose 1-0 in their final Wembley friendly before the World Cup. Japan cut them open with ease at times. England were far too risk averse, constantly picked the safe option of turning inside and prefered one touch flicks to running at sides.
First game of two on Non League Day as Walthamstow play Lowestoft in the Isthmian League with the North London Derby at the Emirates to follow afterwards. Very much enjoying the pink Walthamstow kit.
