I have a few wild ones in my conservatory where I work. I love seeing them explore around my desk. They don't seem at all worried and come and hang around where I am.

If you are ever near Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, you should visit The Cromwell Museum. It's a little gem, and the staff and volunteers are very welcoming. A really interesting building as well. Once part of a medieval monastic hospital, and school for Oliver #Cromwell and Samuel #Pepys.

Definition is "capable of being elected". Starmer was elected as PM with a huge majority. The definition of very electable. There is no evidence so far (and I'm confident there never will be) that Corbyn was "electable". Not as PM.

I'm sorry to hear that. I got that particular snippet from Jo Grady of the UCU. Not my uninformed comment. Kent appears to have nearly half the students Greenwich has (though much more than half the expenditure).

These are choir pits at Whalley Abbey. The only remaining example in England. The choir was built on top and the extra depth was meant to add reverberation to create a deeper sound.
