Raven's mother was Angela Roth, aka Arella. (Don't get me wrong, I think a retcon to make Raven South Asian is awesome. I would vastly prefer that to the all-white Azarath and the appropriated bindi.)

I *loved* Suikoden 5. I loved that the motivation for the plot was sibling love, that our MC was a prince who could not inherit the throne, the political maneuvering that was very true to the Outlaws of the Marsh that is Suikoden's inspiration. Also, the number of outlandishly queer characters.
I loved playing Marvel Superheroes as a TTRPG. It had a simple mechanic, the FASERIP stats, and lent itself to homebrew rules and also concept characters. It was SO much faster to do chargen than any of the other big superhero RPGs of the time (especially Champions).
