Had a couple of foxes pay a visit this morning. Never had that happen before!
A pair of mourning doves decided that my yard was a safe and sheltered place to hatch and raise two pairs of babies this summer. It has been beyond fascinating to observe and a downright honor to be chosen as their host. I am now that old broad who watches birds ALL THE TIME. ♥️
I had a single bloom this year, as well! Which is actually great, since I have zero memory of even PLANTING it, lol. And I love how it fades to a yellow. ❤️

Potato! My first time. Adventures in food growing. I’ve always been a flower gardener, but the last couple of years I’ve found great satisfaction in growing food. I always have extra plants and produce, so I can play Lady Bountiful to my neighbors.
