logically this is canon scaling based on the definitely very consistent and normal sword sizes
felt like the swords were way smaller in the new outfit art and made this compare, yeah they're teeny also it's really funny that this is the same characters and same artist but once again we have a case of art in xenoblade 2 kinda looking like it came from two different games. never change
why do I not have an exact comparison for this shot on hand im a fake fucking malos enjoyer. but yeah thats the same (I know they didn't really update xb1 npc models much (if at all?) so I wasn't expecting it, just bein thorough)
anyway it doesn't really look all that different. bit better, still kinda oddly patchy. im a little surprised bc the dream of elysium area isn't exactly huge, if there was a spot where they'd update the grass density significantly i'd expect it to be here. doesn't matter much, just interesting
was looking back at helsionium uploads to see if they grass density in this shot was significantly different, because it was always one where it sort of stood out awkwardly. but WHAT in the world did youtube do to this poor video
venn diagram of nonbinary characters ive been thinking about.... theres gotta be somebody out there who can fit in the middle right
like I never cared for the boob armor, but the boob armor texture is my beloved. and the rest of her armor has like, slight weathering details that just make it look Nice
ok now that I've had a bit I think I really like the art for the new pythra outfits but oddly the ingame models feel a bit lacking in comparison? Particularly, even though I have issues w/ their og outfit designs, they have reaally good material textures and I don't really see that as much in these
not sure how I feel about these yet but the gradient hair is definitely cool IM SO FUCKIN GLAD IT WASN'T THOSE AWFUL XB3 OUTFITS
i havent seen many people talking about this bit bc the other version of the scene is understandably so much more important. but why does she start blushing here
this fuckass does it. so what is it. where did it come from. is it actually a tengu pose and im really bad at searching. is it something else that ZUN used for tengu and then XB2 also decided to invoke for their coincidentally crow-themed character. is XB2 somehow making a touhou reference. what
thinking about this pose again. for the longest time i've taken it as The Tengu Pose and assumed it was something that originated from historical depictions of tengu. but then when you search for 'tengu pose' or look at art it's not really there....i'd just assume it's a touhou thing and move on BUT
oh it's lovely(?) to know that kris and knives is not a new combination by any means
saw this post earlier and was possessed by the most powerful belief that it applied to a specific character more than anybody and in the time since have completely forgotten who I was thinking about. who.... who were you....
