#HexLore #HexyGposes Ever since Hex was a child, she had shorter hair. It was easier to maintain. After EW, she starts to grow it out, to the shoulder/upper back lengths you're all used to seeing her with. So an older pose of Hex with her shorter hair, and a shot of Hex with super long hair.

And I love when artists give him Forget-me-nots, which I assigned as Hex's flower without even considering him. Like can you imagine him gifting her a bouquet of them, promising her he'd get her back to her "real" home? But I do tend to keep game canon deaths in Hex's canon so...

But their SHB parallels are so good! I love how they both just want to return home, how try as they might, the struggle to leave the past & accept where they ended up is too real. (There's also how Viera lifespan will cause her to outlive most new loved ones which but I haven't explored that much).⤵️

I'm a bad ES fan though. I only came to like him in EW because tsuns are my weakness (though I did appreciate him a lot more in SHB after EW). I also really enjoy seeing others' villain ships but there's just something that makes me not too fond of shipping my own oc's with villains.⤵️

#HexedAU This is tough because I'm so stuck on Hexbert & Rainwaters that I don't think I could ship anything else..? Anytime I've remotely considered, I usually move on pretty quickly (like next patch). Only exception might be Emet-Selch since I ended up creating Hex's Azem, Astraea, around him..?⤵️

#HexDesign This is the one everyone recognizes Hex in. Prior to glamour becoming unrestricted, this was Hex’s civilian attire & I hc’d people could dress outside class/job, but couldn’t fight in it. Now that those limits are gone, idk what I consider this, but it’s still her most signature outfits

Hex in the Ravel Keeper too of casting with sarcnet arm bands & a corsage. She is holding the Fae’s Crown Tathlum. Her signature outfit is usually this top with some kind of long glovelet & a corsage usually in red.

For the brush, you can use pvc pipe for the base and foam around it for bits that jut out. You can also use fittings under the foam for a little more structure. The pipe is also a great way to get the bristles (however you make them) to stick in I'm not too sure about that other shape though⤵️

You can use eva foam for this. I don't veer too far from thin foam, but maybe use two 10mm for the base circle (easier to cut) & 4mm for defining shapes. For the outlines that stick out, clay foam is great, but it does dry quick so store that sealed tightly & work fast.⤵️

We don't usually see each other's headers so here's mine! Blue flowers drifting off to sea!

My header consisting of Hex kneeling by the sea you come out of at the end of Shadowbringers. A faded Ardbert ghost stands beside her, a hand on her back.

In the front, looking away from the sea, is Hex’s Azem, Astraea, also in prayer/reflection. She’s slightly transparent & tinted orange like the sun. There are blue flowers flying out to sea, meant to replicate the blue flowers sent downstream in Rak'tika for those who leave (in my headcanon, they’re forget-me-nots, which are both Hex’s flower & the flower I see a lot of artists use for a certain Ascian that was just put down under that sea). The flowers start off right behind Astraea as if she’s the one who’s leaving them.

#HexLore #Hexbert Hex got to intimately know Ardbert's soul & she knew he was now a part of her that she couldn't talk to anymore, so even when she 1st heard people talking about him, there was this feeling she had where she just immediately knew it wasn't him.⤵️

#HexMunstrosityWIP Was keeping this on the dl, because I knew I wasn’t going to finish on time with how involved it is & my skill level. Unfortunately, I let myself get too engrossed in this so didn’t even get to finish my other cosplay. But some progress shots.⤵️

The base of the Ravel Keeper top of casting. The skirt is two shades of teals, the darker side with fringe. The bottom side of the lighter side is unfinished. There is an olive green waistband & a black sash wrapped around with a wide tan-ish yellow feather.

On the top part, one of the triangles is finished, the other still has clips in it. This is still missing the two strips near the waist. There are two silver clips near the shoulders

There is a bought necklace with a changed center made of silver painted worbla.

The rest of the “feathers” for the cosplay & the brown “leather” piece(?). The “feathers” are made from foam colored in gradients of mostly turquoise with greens & reds. There are some more tan toned “feathers” mixed in.

Omg I forgot I still had a crime that gives hyuran children bunny ears (from a pose I did a while ago)! I didn't realize because I've done a few quests since where the children did not have the ears lol. But now it looks like this child has never seen a non-Viera before lol
