Our long beans have grown across into some of the other beds. We saw these pods that had decomposed away, leaving just the strings and the seeds behind, still hanging.
Cats have been disappearing in our neighborhood. There may be coyotes preying on them. Joy and Ace are among them. Sad #caturday
This old girl has refused food for several days and is thin as a rail, but today she felt like eating again, so maybe she'll be around a while longer.

Birthday donut bounty. We typically get donuts once a year, on my birthday. Most of them go in the freezer so that we can spread out the enjoyment.
We semi-adopted a family of three long-haired black cats a year or so ago. At the time, it was hard to tell mom from son from daughter. Now, they have differentiated. This is the daughter, Ace, who has developed red highlights.
Late for Caturday. This little neighborhood girl is about 20 years old. She has been looking haggard lately, so I've started bringing her wet food for breakfast and de-matting her while she eats.
