These pictures of Uranus are such a vibe 😏

This image displays three false-color, infrared views of Uranus side-by-side. Each version uses a different color palette to highlight various atmospheric features and cloud altitudes that are typically invisible to the human eye. The bright, concentrated areas on the right side of each globe likely represent a high-altitude haze or polar cap, while the darker regions indicate clearer atmospheric depths.
Infrared imaging allows astronomers to peer beneath the planet's typically featureless, pale blue-green outer atmosphere. By assigning visible colors to different wavelengths of infrared light, scientists can map out the structure, altitude, and movement of cloud layers and storm systems on Uranus.
Blue/White View: Often used to probe deeper atmospheric levels, where clearer conditions allow sunlight to penetrate further.
Purple/Green View: Highlights mid-to-high altitude hazes and methane absorption within the atmosphere.
Blue/Orange View: Typically emphasizes the highest-altitude clouds and polar features, such as the planet's unique polar cap.

Did I just spend 4 hours optimizing a 3D file because my software kept crashing on import, only to discover it wasn't the geometry, it was that the software couldn't figure out which button gets focus?

I feel it most with animals. An understanding that runs beneath language. I can't explain it, but I don't think that makes it any less real. Years ago, we spoke to our sick family dog through an animal communicator. It confirmed something I'd already felt, and left me open to the rest.

Help I've fallen (behind on Love Island) and I can't get (caught) up.

The need to create has been so strong lately that a basic flyer becomes a full design odyssey.

A vintage-style newspaper front page titled “THE TROY RECORD” dated Thursday, October 29, 2026, with “PRICE ONE TREAT” in the header. I went to Death Becomes Her on Broadway last night, and it was hilariously unhinged. The audience was fully invested, laughing, gasping, and cheering. It was so gay coded: Superficiality! Camp! Drag! I really love the self-aware era that musicals are going through.
