We have not seen the blowups we usually see from him, not really since that one disasterous appearence in Baltimore. It hasn't been perfect, a couple WP, a HBP... but nothing *egregious*. The important part: 1 Earned runs over 14 appearences. his best stretch in that regard this year.

The interesting thing about this team, is they dont have a primary base stealer. Base Stealing is just a teamwide activity. They have a core of 4 guys whose sole job is to get on and make the pitcher hate themselves. Then theres another core that would be in any other teams top 5 basestealers.

Stealing bases is very much the name of the game for this Marlins Team. Good news on that front! no one can keep their top base stealers off base! This is bad news if you dont like guys eating your bases!

yeah, pitching improvments was one of the things i kept seeing (still hitting a lot of guys but definetly getting better at stranding runners). Had not seen the baserunning yet and... wow okay yeah that tracks! shoutout to Nasim Nuñez who apparently counts for 1/3 of the Nats stolen bases.

Okay this is extremely funny though. The Marlin's pitching staff have improved in a lot of areas over the season... but not in Hit by pitch. They are still hitting... a LOT of batters lmao.

It does look like they've reigned a couple things in however. One of those things: Walks issued. from the 4th most walks issued to the 2nd least in the NL. but maybe moreso: Wild pitches. They went from having the 2nd most Wild Pitches throw in the NL, to being about average

Heres another big swing: Left on Base % From March through to end of May: The Marlin's were the worst in the NL at stranding runners. June through to July 10th: a complete flip. now the Marlin's are one of the *best* in the NL at stranding runners.

NGL theres so much data to go through finding a concise answer is kinda hard, but i did find a couple things First picture here: The Marlin's Slugging from March 27th though to the end of May: in the lower half the NL. Then we see the Marlin's Slugging from June 1st to July 10th: huge improvement.

Seeing the Marlin's rise visualized is just... God this is Incredible. This team was 26 - 34 going into June. Since the start of June... they've only dropped 8 games out of 34. I gotta go diving through Savant later to see just what the hell happened.

Not much to say about the AL... except one thing: the Red Sox and Tigers are both 8-2 over their last 10. Miraculously... they are clawing their way back into the race, hanging onto the cliffside with their teeth. God the AL is a mess.

interesting aside: The Braves have been quietly going through their own implosion. Over their last 30 games, they've had a record of 12 to 18...! Due to some injuries, they've really bled a lot of their previously unassailable buffer. The Marlins, The Phillies, The Cubs: their closing in.

Checking in on the Wildcard race and dear god the NL. The Cardinals, being 4 games over .500, and not in a Wildcard spot is.. incredible. (Sorry Bless) Their playing great, its just that most of NL is also playing great... and are neck and neck. This is a league-wide fight to the death.

huh... You know i actually don't know which maps in Sunder have the most impact tbh. Despite Pale Monument getting picked for the "Top 100 Most Memorable Maps" list, i always assumed The Furnace was the big, influential map of old Sunder. Probably because of *gestures to Danne's output* all that.
