We had our first truly warm day in weeks. Turns out I'm not having a mid life crisis, I just needed dinner on a patio and a walk on the beach.

My puppy went in for a spay 2 weeks ago. Her declaw was removed at the same time and got infected. Massive nightmare but she's on the mend. In the meantime she has to wear her cone for another full week. This cone is a weapon she wields with little regard. My shins may never recover.

Yesterday a gaggle of wild turkeys brought my car to a stop as they hung out in the MIDDLE of the road. Today a Great Grey Owl brought me squealing to a stop jaw hanging low, completely in awe. Hoping for a hat trick, what great bird will tomorrow bring!?!
