How do you regard 2008 with 8 Ilitches for the Red Wings? The Jacobs had a bunch for the 2011 Bruins. I don't like it either, but it's hardly 'the past couple years' or just non-traditional market teams.

There's a lot of dedicated Caniacs up at 630am in DT Raleigh. Includes the first row of chairs along F'ville north of Davie, at the first monitor
Walked around the South end of Fayetteville St a little while ago. They are building the stage there now, right by The Acorn. Memorial Hall is seen at the end there. Lots of people in Canes apparel everywhere you go. (The pickups/trailers you see are loaded with the stage components)
Might need to head straight from the rally to get in line for this. This will bring Cary to a standstill.

I found these pics from a Hurricanes parade in October 2010 today. I'll be with these same 2 kids Saturday, almost in the exact same place.
Official predictions for Saturday's parade crowd are apparently over 100,000, maybe 150,000. Also this: "Screens and audio will be placed along Fayetteville St."
Latest on the parade route. Based on the 1000s Maniscalco just posted that came out to RDU, this is going to be epic.
