What if a Winamp visualizer, but as building facade.

It is the early 2000s again. Computers just defeated y2k bugs and you are high on life. In the distance you hear Sandstorm. If only there was a visualization to capture the feeling of this moment. There is. Someone found it in marble and they sliced it thinly and slapped it on the outside of this building in downtown Minneapolis.

Law brain whispering in my ear: There is important legal precedent about the number 10 referenced in the 26th footnote.

A snippet from Illinois new Frontier Models in AI law. It reads:

"Frontier model" means a foundation model that was trained using a quantity of computing power greater than 10 to the 26 integer or floating-point operations.

Of course “to the” is my edit here, the 26 appears superscripted. It is the first time I’ve ever seen superscript used in a legal document where it doesn’t mean footnote. My brain had a hard time with this.

My dog is too photogenic, but I’ve only taken 2 photos of my cat that I’ve really liked.

“Some cats adopt the dark, but I was born in it.” My cat says, shrouded in a halo of light as he perches atop a laptop to prevent me from purchasing more dog food online.

A black cat, his paws held in front of his face and his eyes narrowed. It is unfortunate that he is not also peeking out from behind a tree to complete the image of the perfect little schemer.

This is a misleading and disappointing article on multiple fronts. It’s both possible and reasonable to be against Waymos/driverless cars without doing things like what has been done in this article.
