My Apple IIe that I pulled from the recycle bin at work works. Well worked. After about an hour of use playing The Oregon Trail I heard a snap, a fizzle, and smelled smoke. The power supply gave up the ghost. Not bad for a power supply made in May of 1984.
Oh man, I just saved an Apple IIe from being recycled. Has the monitor, disk drive, and a joystick with it. Not sure of its full functionality yet, but once I get it home I’m gonna try to restore it.
