Most browsers have a basic vpn built in now no? If gov tries to ban vpn's they'll hurt business where they're widely used. This ban is an abdication of responsibility as gov is afraid of US big tech and making them clean up the platforms for everyone, plus completely useless/ineffectual in practice.

So new chair arrived, with as high as back as I could find that didn't cost multiple hundreds, and that's where the headrest comes to. Tall people problems. Rest of the chair is good though for ~£60.

Not a bad way to spend a couple hours on a summery spring evening (family is going to be moving so making the most of the work I've done in the abandoned orchard, hopefully someone takes it on and at least maintains what I've done for everyone). Much more enjoyable than (gestures at world).

Also added a second way into the abandoned orchard so can do a proper loop over the long weekend. It also will mean it's easier to pick black berries in autumn too.
So the deer did get the honeysuckle I was most wanting to survive, so got a case of the sod its and dug up one of the two existing in the orchard and moved the lot over. Hopefully being an established plant the Roe can't kill it. Also added 2 more purple dead-nettle, so should spread a lot easier.
The other bit I've put to grow by the entrance to the top clearing to grow up a hawthorn tree, the prevailing wind blows in through there to the clearing, so once it's grown, through summer that'll smell amazing. Again assuming the deer don't eat it.
There is also some honeysuckle growing in the abandoned orchard, so took some bits that had started to root from runners and put one to hopefully grow up the side of the shelter, so long as the deer don't eat it that is...
This is Self Heal right? Took a small one from the connecting field and have put it in the area where I'd put some native woodland seeds that badgers or something have trashed as they were trying to shoot. It'll make a nice purple haze there once it spreads and flowers early for bees and stuff.

Spent the afternoon doing some maintenance on the path in the abandoned orchard, a bunch of stakes holding the edges had sagged with how wet it had been and added some of the fallen branches from over winter to beef up parts of it.
Side note 2, Lords-and-Ladies I think? (note to remind people not to touch/eat unknown berries!). Quite a lot of this about in there.
