The deer in headlights thing is actually completely true and not just a joke. But what you don’t know is that you can do so many other things to a deer while they’re occupied with pretty lights~
If you’re jumping into TES lore, have fun. It’s a trip. Wait until you hear about the Khajiit that look like normal house cats or the ones that just look like regular people and regularly get mistaken for humans or elves
As far as I know, the anthropomorphic Khajiit furstocks aren't based on any particular type of cat. What cat they resemble depends on which game you play, and I could pick out a Khajiit NPC that resembles almost any big cat.
For anyone wondering, these are my very normal thoughts about these guys from Outer Wilds 😳
