This was Kara and I feeding our brains last Friday so we could solve the murder game we were playing
Little sist just dropped me home. As always, had a great day with Kara. As well as solving a murder, we played Race Around the World, P for Pizza and Cards Against Gravity. Lots of fun
Well, it seems like the local police will want to hire Kara and I. We just solved the Cryptic Killers - Murder In the Movie Theater case file. We *had* to stop for lunch to feed our brains. Kara had set up snacks beforehand too.
In an Uber to little sist's house to hang out with Kara. This is the murder mystery case file game we have to try. Tyler also got some new board games recently we are going to try out.
I started reading Strange Pictures by Uketsu last night. It is creepy and I love it!
Morning, folks. Anxious as gym induction at 9.30. At the moment, I'm just going to do the induction and then have my first actual session on Tuesday afternoon. One step at a time. Getting over the threshold is today's challenge.
So, as you know, Kara has a prestigious scholarship (well a double) to a private school for sixth form starting this September. The football programme is run by Man City. Anyway, her current career plans? She wants to own her Home Bargains store 😂 Her shrine minus pyjamas
Kara got some cheap knock off New Balance trainers. They look convincing until...
I'm not sure if you've seen but a couple of months ago my mum rescued a teacup chihuahua called Dolly. Ridiculously funny looking. Whenever I go round she jumps straight onto my knee.
Amazon delivery. Could not resist when I saw this set of Adrian Mole books available for £17.90. But who wrapped them up like that?! So, putting aside Northanger Abbey, actually and going to make a start on The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Ages 13 3/4. Yay
Last night I finished The Pinnacle by @radiomukhers.bsky.social I loved it. Hunted last year was great but this was even better. The setting, humour, etc was great. The monologue from the president on p308 was hilarious. Thanks for a great read.
I had headed to bed but couldn't wait til the morning to share this with you. Little sist messaged me this and I'm so freaking proud of the ginge - Lancs Schools U16s Managers Player of the Year #proudauntie @samwhyte.bsky.social
Well deserved. You made it on my keep pile when I had a clear out the other day. Spot yours?
Yes, I started on Northanger Abbey recently. However, this afternoon I'm going to make a start on Macbeth by Jo Nesbo as it has piqued my interest sitting in my pile of books delivered yesterday.
Do we think is is the same blazer lol. Facebook is full of photos of kids on first and last days of high school. The common theme seems to be that parents have bought a blazer to last them 5 years 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My summer bundle, my Shakespeare retold subscription book and a couple of Anne Tyler books delivered. Yay for @bertsbooks.bsky.social The postman asked me what was happening as it isn't my payday lol
Kara her youngest fan.Ginge has had an amazing 3 years with Lancs Schools. She has developed so much in confidence while playing with them. It's her last GCSE exams today. Here she is with POTM at her first ever match. I was there & no idea how football was going to become life.
