American Jews organizing our community to end U.S. support for Israel's apartheid system + demand equality and justice for all.
And in Congress, @pazforthepeople.bsky.social will replace Katherine Clark, one of the top recipients of AIPAC funding, and help pass the Block the Bombs Act.
In the State House, @evanforcambridge.bsky.social will be a bold new voice against the entrenched corrupt system that allowed that definition to be enacted, in the face of vocal dissent from the Jewish community.
In the State Senate, @electerika.bsky.social will carry on Pat Jehlen’s work standing up to a false and dangerous definition of antisemitism that endangers Jews and Muslims while eroding free speech.

CAMBRIDGE Cambridge For Palestine submitted a questionnaire to all this year's City Council candidates. Based on the responses, they have endorsed Ayah Al-Zubi for a #1 vote. (They also recommend ranking LaQueen Battle, Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler, Stan Rivkin, & Sumbul Siddiqui in any order.)
SOMERVILLE Somerville for Palestine endorses Willie Burnley, Jr. for Mayor, and a Yes vote on Question 3, which would instruct the city to divest from businesses that sustain Israel’s enactment of apartheid, genocide, and occupation of Palestine.
Even local elections give us a chance to vote in solidarity with Palestine. Here we have compiled some resources to help inform your decision. Make sure to vote by Election Day, November 4!

As Jews, we know what genocide looks like. Many of our families were decimated in the Holocaust & other atrocities. No one deserves starvation. No one deserves to lose their family, to lose their home. No one deserves such horrific brutality. We can end this, but we need to do it together. Join us.
We will not stop choosing life. Not until there is justice for Awdah, for Anas, for all the dead and all the living. Not until all in the Holy Land can live in safety and peace. We hope you will join us. Watch this space for more ways to get involved… including a chapter meeting next week!
We stand firm that every life is a universe. That all lives deserve the respect, love, and dignity that we share. As Rabbi Toba Spitzer of @rabbis4ceasefire.bsky.social powerfully told the crowd, our community faces a choice: between life and death, blessing and curse. We must choose life.
Yesterday's assemblage was a cross section of Massachusetts Jewry, representing many congregations, beliefs, relationships to Israel & Zionism. But they agreed on this: Israel’s actions are unbearable, a desecration. This is not Judaism. Photos by Emily Glick
500 Jews and people of conscience are taking a stand in the pouring rain for life and freedom. Our tradition denounces these horrors and demands we cry out against them. Every human being is created B’tselem Elohim, in the divine image. If there is a hungry person, one must feed them. #NotInOurName
Rabbi Rebecca Zimmerman Hornstein and Rabbi Aron Wander declare “We will make the choice every day to not close our hearts to the enormity of the horror.” “We are not here today because we all agree on everything…But we do agree that our tradition teaches the infinite value of sacred life.”
We are at a tipping point. Gazans face catastrophic levels of famine. Hundreds have been slaughtered trying to access aid. Israel’s own human rights organizations are calling what’s happening a genocide. The carnage is unbearable and does nothing to secure Jewish safety. #LetGazaLive
HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of Jews and allies have gathered outside the Israeli Consulate in Boston to decry the ongoing starvation of Gaza. Our Jewish values compel us to demand a ceasefire. To demand aid be allowed into Gaza. To demand our government stop supporting genocide. #JewsSayNoMore
Cantor Vera Broekhuysen, of Congregation Beth El in Sudbury, calls on us to raise some “holy Jewish noise” in response to the chillul hashem of deliberate starvation in Palestine. Join her, and hundreds more, TONIGHT in Boston at 5:30. innmvmt.org/boston-jews-say-no-more
Hear Rabbi Toba Spitzer of Temple Dorshei Tzedek speak out against the starvation and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and for the return of hostages. Then join her — & many more — tomorrow at 5:30 as we bring our voices directly to the Israeli consulate in Boston innmvmt.org/boston-jews-say-no-more
"If someone is hungry we are called to feed them… there is no excuse for starving another human being." Rabbi Barbara Penzner calls on all of us to stand up and speak out. Tomorrow in Boston at 5:30. innmvmt.org/boston-jews-say-no-more
Hear Rabbi David Jaffe as he calls on us to heed our Jewish values of compassion and speak out against the deliberate starvation of Gaza. And then join us tomorrow at 5:30pm, outside the Israeli embassy in Boston, as we rally in protest and prayer. RSVP at innmvmt.org/boston-jews-say-no-more
