On the website showyourstripes.info/c it shows that it's the deviation based on the average temperature of 1961-2010.

Mijn planten van @cruydthoeck.bsky.social zijn binnengekomen! 🤩 Daarmee kan ik mooi de boomspiegel omtoveren van een exotische bespoten bende naar een inheems, biologisch bloemenparadijs.

Our ladies are also doing well. After the first generation of workers was born, the nest expanded rapidly for a while and now it's a decent size (still smaller than my fist). They're behaving very politely. I can walk in and out of my shed with no issues. #wasps 🐝

So after my koolrabi raised 20+ butterflies and helped pollinators, it is now in seed and has helped raise this beautiful but shy Cabbage bug (Eurydema oleracea, 🇳🇱 Koolschildwants). I much prefer having this vegetable as a plant in my garden than on my plate 😆 it is serving so many species.

Walking around with a shovel in my neighbourhood to dig out and relocate the beautiful native plants the municipality is going to "weed" this week.
