Inland temperatures may become even more extreme: Raleigh, NC has an NBM ensemble mean high temp on July 4 of 106°F which would tie the city's all-time high. The 75th percentile is 109°F which is only one degree away from the all-time state record held by Fayetteville at 110°F.
