This is great. @aras-p.bsky.social has done some 3D PD stuff thats cool also. github.com/aras-p/playd... There is a decent amount of 3D Playdate stuff, but the majority of it is "pseudo 3D" or not using a traditional triangle rasterizer (scaled sprites etc) I was working on a fishing game like this
So this is what they meant when they said Fable 5 was good at bio. Without safety features it would have exposed the dangerous secret of beebumble farts.
I have a handful of physical games in my Steam library. At the very least HL2 and HL.
A billion dollars isn't cool. You know what's cool? A trillion dollars.
I don't really think or care much about Horizon Worlds these days, but I'm still part of the group on FB, and seeing this made me a little sad. The system was designed so type errors would not be a thing. I bunch of programmers took it over and decided WE NEED TO HAVE ERRORS so here we are...
The crazy thing is, at first I thought this was hyperbole because I typed in a slightly different prompt, "how many days of the week have fish in them" vs. "how many days of the week have *a* fish in them". The first prompt gave accurate results, the additional "a" completely derails everything.
Early versions of D&D and AD&D have monster reaction rules that include negotiation as a possible reaction. Maybe this DM just didn't know these rules, or if they were playing some version that didn't include them or a Japanese localized version omitted them?
ChatGPT will not give you useful advice in these type of situations, but will generate agreeable output that confirms whatever insanity you are planning. Even then... www.videogameschronicle.com/news/court-t...
I was hoping for collision, gravity and coyote time, but this is still pretty good code gen from youraislopbores.me
Copy and pasted this from a Unity Slack discussion from 2022 where an employee (not exec, afaik), suggested we make our own Fortnite 🤣
Me every time gamers or new game developers freak out about animation bugs
To be fair, I, too, would like infinite money and GPUs just to study and ponder
This UseNet response to the plan file is also really good. groups.google.com/g/comp.graph... In 2026 when one of those vendors is propping up the economy and is worth 1.5x Microsoft in market cap and can basically dictate what goes in DirectX this quote is really fun
