I can’t get over this 250th flop that’s going on. The bicentennial was a massive celebration that started a couple years bf. This year is a massive money laundering operation. I read that there are hundreds of millions of dollars unaccounted for and for that we got nothing.

Had 3 owls on my orchard fence this evening. Of course I didn’t have my phone 🤷🏼‍♀️ I installed an owl house couple years ago but so far no nests. They eat 1,000 gophers a year and I have plenty of those.

Outside of Manolo Farmers Market, Trader Joe’s 99¢ corn tortillas are the best I cook them on cast iron without oil. You can make them crispy too like these for tostadas.

So I tried making the smashed potato waffle. I ate this one as a cheeseburger and it was def good enough to make again. Think I’ll try it with avocado and fried egg next time.
