I had an early start today and caught this peaceful view on my walk to work. This beautiful city.
An assortment of photos from Halifax Pride yesterday. Lots more to go through. #halifax #halifaxpride 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
My sweet friend with our large rainbow banner reflected in her sunglasses. What a beautiful day of queer joy, allyship, and love 🏳️🌈
Possibly my favourite shot from yesterday’s beach wedding. I’m so glad they were willing to play along!
How’s that for a wedding venue? This couple couldn’t have picked a better day. I love being a photographer and capturing people’s stories. Wishing S & W a lifetime of happiness! #novascotiaphotographer #outdoorwedding #crystalcrescent
How is this a computer?! I’m showing my age. I’m blown away by this tiny desktop computer! (No, my hands aren’t that huge)
This was such a beautifully written, heartbreaking read. It’s always hard to finish a wonderful book! #booksky
Glorious early morning beach trip. When we left at 8:30, it was already filling up. Going to be a hot one. Stay safe!
Long but lovely day. “Dykes on the Dykes” in Wolfville as part of Valley Pride, brunch with new friends from the walk, and down to the Halifax waterfront to catch the end of Sail GP with my eldest. #novascotia #sailgp #avalleypride #photography
Saturday may have been drizzly in the Valley, but this wedding went off beautifully. #novascotiaphotographer #weddingphotography #wolfville
My morning commute - a 20 minute walk from home. This beauty started the walk with me but opted for a nice backyard instead of the busy streets. Smart move! #halifax
Happy 10th birthday, Jackson! Here’s to another year of rock fishing and swamp bathing. The grossest, sweetest dog I know ❤️ #dogsofbluesky
North Cape, PEI. A beautiful but all too brief getaway. #photography #landscapephotography #pei #northcape
Well after more than two years that flew by like minutes… that’s a wrap on my time working at Saint Andrew’s. I’ve been blessed beyond measure to work with a great team and to connect with so many wonderful people throughout each week. On to the next chapter! ❤️
Weekend highlights: puffy clouds in Mount Uniacke, a trip to Grand Pré and Wolfville, and a trip to Dairy Bar and the Halifax Public Gardens. #halifax #novascotiaphotographer #photography
Some favourite shots from springs past. Now that the blossoms are starting to pop, I can’t wait to get my camera out and enjoy some colour! #photography #novascotiaphotographer #novascotia #springflowers
Great catchup with @michellemccann.bsky.social and @msvugraduate.bsky.social this morning. Our obligatory annual selfie!
Timeline cleanse. Nine years ago I captured this moment when Jackson was catching the bubbles my youngest was blowing. It’s still one of my favourite photos of them. #dogsofbluesky
Today is Two-Spirit and Indigenous LGBTQQIA+ Celebration and Awareness Day. Thanks to the Nova Scotia NDP for sharing this. We’re a better world for diversity and awareness.
I have. This one was on Quinpool just past Oxford yesterday. I got out the back doors but one woman climbed over the snowbank from the middle doors!
The walk to the bus stop is something. I end up walking in the road with the cars. There’s so much snow and ice piled up on the “sidewalk” all the way to the stop. That’s from this morning.
This is 58. Still queasy from a migraine earlier, but got up to receive some lovely flowers and goodies from my girls.
Herring Cove Road by Melwood. Covered in snow and ice. We have to walk *in the road* during the morning commute to get to the bus stop.
Great day today. Time with the doggos, time with friends, and early birthday tiramisu. And those icicles were amazing!
Some shots from Saturday’s model session at Churchill House. #NovaScotiaphotographer #portraiture #photography
Model photo sessions this morning at the beautiful Churchill House in Hantsport, #NovaScotia. I can’t wait to get through the photos!
