Indivisible Sequim is a local chapter (Sequim, Washington) of the nationwide grassroots movement Indivisible, where thousands of groups and millions of people have come together to fight authoritarianism of any kind.
Yes!!! 4,300 of us at Sequim's moving rally. The Handmaids. Signs of Fascism. Protest singers. Veterans. Pride. The Drum Brigade thundering through the crowd. Immigrant solidarity marchers. A decorated car parade. Costumed folks. Every group brought it and the street felt it. Thank you all!!!

610 people showed up today for a pop-up protest, with only 24 hour notice, expressing grief, outrage, determination, especially in response to what's happening in Minneapolis. All done non-violently to protest the violence inflicted by ICE.

MLK Jr. Day Rally, Noon to 1 at N. Priest & Washington. Dr. King taught that non-violence is not passive, it is powerful, disciplined love in the face of injustice. Join us once again as we give voice to these beliefs and shout out that freedom, dignity, and humanity are not negotiable.

Word has it (unofficially) that there were 3200 of us at today's No Kings rally in Sequim. This, in spite of the fear-mongering by the Republicans. This, in spite of the cold drizzle. The mood was "Portlandian": Full of humor and heart.
