The universe is 13.8 billion years old, and human civilization has existed for about ten thousand years. We don't know if intelligent life exists elsewhere; it's rare here on Earth. Perhaps humans aren't the only species capable of their own demise, unable to evolve beyond tribalism and primal fear.
Over 70 million people decided to vote for this failure of a human being, not for dog catcher or street sweeper, but for President of the United States. He's lived up to his reputation, well-known long before he changed his grift to politics.

Anyone who thinks they're above the law and breaks it at every turn must be taught, with both language and force, that the law applies to everyone. A lot of people in this regime should be doing time, not spending their time destroying democracy.
The Trump cult reminds me of the 1956 film 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' and that most of us are essentially the main character warning society of the insidious critical danger of the pod people. Despite exhaustion, this is no time to fall asleep.
