My husband, upon hearing one of the chickens was lost that night thought: “we will rebuild,” went through the eggs and found all the ones that Midnight’s mother laid (plus a few extras) and started a new round of incubation 😂
It is with deepest sadness and sorrow that I report that 1 of our newest flock, Midnight, wandered too close the fence and crossed the rainbow bridge tonight. And while the neighbor dogs are normally docile and sweet, dogs will do what dogs do :(
