back in business speedran the last of calibration last night and got my ears started before i leave for a road trip today :D
finally back in action, 4.1 upgrade tomorrow (assuming this doesn't explode overnight), then time for the ears, new tail, and leg bits
fixed my car's AC finally and it might be working a bit too well

happy pride! bit late, but in my defense, June 1st was a wild turn of events :P
ended up having to redo the cuff on one of the paws like 3 more times to fix various things (squeaker got messed up, claws needed more stuffing), and have now started working more on the body w/ the scan I have of my lower body. I like this shape I think :D
ngl learning fursuit making so far has just been like this (very fun, I'm loving it)
paws are done! so fucking proud of these, especially considering this is the first sewing project I've ever completed (pattern from StuffedTailsFursuits)
spending 6 hours hand-sewing the claws really has me appreciating the mechanical genius that is the sewing machine anywho, i have to redo them because the blanket stitch looks like shit inside out on the minky. shoulda done more research first lol i have at least conquered spandex, and cuffing :3
dopamine first learning/calibrating the stitch + trimming/stuffing, second was first practice run, and 3rd was more practice with the transparent presser foot so i can see what i'm doing. very happy w/ the real one! (trimming will be easy, stitch has proven make or break) #furry #fursuitmaking
makin progress, got most of the fabrics cut (other than the liner) and started clipping bits together. still gotta calibrate tension and length and stuff on some of the scrap pieces i see now why they sell the little clips in containers of like a million lol
