What a difference a week makes! Staples come out in one more week, then it’s the waiting game for the swelling to go down. Definitely was not as rough a recovery as I’d anticipated.

Early Bluesky adopters were disproportionately trans folks, sex workers, and tech workers. A lot of the positive folks straight-up got harassed off the site. The rest of us learned to get meaner. Let's be careful about what relationship we're attempting to draw.

It’s literally the simplest thing to use @pronouns.diy , and if you’re gonna interact with trans folks, it’s really helpful to avoid misgendering them. I don’t normally put folks on blast, but don’t lie to me and say you’re going to do better, and then refuse to use the labeler.
