I painted one cloth goblin so far and it was such a breath of fresh air to paint just by virtue of being so different. Definitely want to paint more and get more from the range. Inspired by daffodil colours but as my boys so charmingly pointed out "looks more like a Minecraft watermelon". 😂

Sort of. 3d printer related. Turned out the screen was dying and possibly other things too but my wife got a bunch of misprints for the triceratogre. The head had a hole punched straight through where the grafted eyestalk now lives and the cyber hand fingers pancaked. Waste not and kit bash instead

Finished up this cold weather post apocalypse survivor mini from Athena miniatures over the weekend. Three out six done now and think this has been that nicest sculpt so far. Really enjoyed painting it.

Totally non essential hobby add that I adore and makes basing easier and tidier and less wasteful. Glitter tray. Love it. Cap off and pour bits back into bag/box etc when done.

Between heat and life busying up no brush time for a week ISH but this cold weather survivor from Athena miniatures is near done enough that I've a zombie primed for next. The survivor is likely to encounter dinosaurs at some point while the zombie shall be part of a blood gather for Necropolis28

Well at least there was post today. Rubbish basically and certainly none of the things I'm waiting on. Just as well I started this guy last night then. Pleased with how he's progressing. Once the rest of the base colours are on I think he'll look rather dapper. Pondering accent colours or not.

Okay so not drastically different to before but I have worked the colours more and I'm happier with it. Also repaired and painted the base. So probably just going to varnish and get some dressing on the base and she'll be quite good enough for my intentions.

It's been passed back between my wife and I a bit as we got fed up of it but nearly done now. Ropes and poster spots to come. I like it but if the chroma pre printed one had existed at the time I'd happily of taken that instead.

This upgraded bit of pre printed MDF terrain from thexlc has been waiting for some finishing touches for a while. The burned edges on the red/white sun canopy was doing my head in. Fixed it. Rather pleased with the colour match.

Two finished enough post apocalypse survivors from www.athenaminiatures.co.uk who mostly do historical minis. Anyways I found them charming minis and they were to my mild surprise given the price point pretty darn nice to paint too. So big thumbs up. Happy to have more in the queue.

And the tent isn't all I've been up to. This suit of power armour is a "Glitter boy" from the Rifts RPG. In the setting they are super shiny to help reflect laser/energy weapons. Probably makes them bloody awful at stealth but in game it and its rail gun were absolute beasts.

So I painted a tent from amera mouldings to see how that went. Just fine. So the next and significantly larger project can get started with confidence... sometime. In the meanwhile I've a new piece of scatter terrain/objective marker /spawn point for all manners of games.

Welcome to club good enough because you came with a cool power armour suit and it seemed a shame not to paint the pilot too. Glue on the basing is still drying and I might yet do a couple of little tidies if I'm feeling it but otherwise he's off to the varnishing pile.

Cybil' was a beautiful danger noodle who sadly left us last night. She'd been with my wife longer than I have! She was particularly elderly so not exactly surprising. Damn sad though. Not looking forward to telling our boys about it later.

Is this the cutest strawberry you ever did see? I think it probably is for me. It was small and it looks like it has adorable little legs. I feel like it and Quest Sprout from @swordscomic.bsky.social would get along fabulously.

Painted an old metal mini silver cos it's a glitterboy from rifts. Might call it..might titivate a few details.
