"Time marks" should read "pine martens," which is completely obvious in context. Looks like RTE Kids content is transcribed by AI, edited by AI & published, without ever passing before a human eye. This is supposed to be educational content (& what it's teaching is kids is "ah fuck it, it'll do.")

I should have taken a picture before I opened it, because it was very neat & beautiful & now it looks a mess - but you can see that all the packaging is plain paper. Around here, that gets burnt in the range. You could compost it, if you prefer. Either way, no waste disposal problem! 👍

Inside the envelope, the books are wrapped in clean white newsprint. It's a bit torn & grubby now, but when it arrived it was pristine.

TIL that 32 years (since completion) is "four decades" (of occupation) according to RTE?

The council said the cost of retrofitting its current civic offices to meet its climate commitments could cost up to €400m and that it is in talks to
relocate to the site of the former DIT Kevin Street.

It is almost 50 years since major protests took place in the capital against plans by Dublin City Council to build new civic offices on a Viking settlement discovered on Wood Quay.

The campaign of opposition was ultimately unsuccessful and the project was completed in
1994.

Now, after just four decades using the site as its headquarters, Dublin City Council said it wants to
leave Wood Quay because upgrading
the offices to meet climate targets could cost up to €400m.

This BBC report is deranged! Even apart from confusing pronoun & surname (& misattributing that confusion to the judge) they completely misrepresent the judgement which stated that Burke was suspended for gross misconduct & *not* for his regressive views on gender. Is BBC in contempt of court?

Mr Burke was initially suspended from the school in 2022 for refusing to call a transgender pupil by the surname 'they', and "the manner in which he conducted his objection to transgenderism," towards the principle, according to the judgement.
