Went to the Giants game. Cried a lot about our terminally ill dog and argued with two different bigots about the pride hat bullshit (because I jeered one of the bigots when he came in to pitch). Fuck bigots.
Got a brutal diagnosis from the vet yesterday. Poor ol Muggsy the dog seems to have an aggressive cancer that will take him from us much too soon. Best dog ever (no offense to his brother Rufus). We are devastated.

Still reeling from last night’s stunning performance of Bowie’s Blackstar at SF Symphony. Gail Ann Dorsey was astounding.
After my dad died in 2022 we went to Mexico City and I got his initials tattooed on my wrist. Mom died in January, now in Barcelona and added her initials (they share the “K”) along with a long-desired Bowie blackstar.
Reunited with my original tribe Saturday - what a great afternoon! Not many people my age (60) can take a photo with this many friends from 7th grade, along with a transformative teacher. @jfinlayson.bsky.social
