Michigander believer and dad building the internet by day and dreaming of escaping to a cabin in the woods. Love is everything.
Bringing real loser energy here Mike. Also, how did El-Sayed win the primary if a majority of Democratic voters oppose him?
AI remains on top of things. (The game is at 55 minutes as of this screenshot.)
I lost mine a few years ago when I sold the property it was on, sadly. I also honestly didn't use it a ton after building it. Here's what I came up with though. The pipe comes out of the barrels at the bung & goes around the back and underneath.
Engaging with high profile accounts in any way is always a good reminder that Bluesky is not the ivory tower bubble a bunch of folks pretend it is. On the other hand from their most recent posts, this person is clearly an expert on 'loser mentality', so maybe I'm wrong.
When Google can no longer recognize that this is a spam (and scam) email, what are we even doing? Sketchy link, text, email address and TLD and not from a contact or matching any previous emails. The internet is experiencing it's own form of Kessler syndrome.
Last year Dreamhost let me know that I'd no longer be seeing any residual income from the referral codes I put onto the internet 22 years ago in 2004, but it looks like the big bucks are rolling in one last time.
Well. It makes my heart feel good but my brain isn't sure how to feel.
All the folks with a ton of Bitcoin panicking over the current drop should probably remember that $60k is not the worst case scenario. I first heard about Bitcoin when it was < $1 USD, and there's no reason it couldn't go there (or even just $10k) again. They won't remember that, but they should.
Quite literally grabbing one timestamp earlier from the transcript adds context that she's speaking about a societal view, not her own. Further context before and after shows it was about societal context. Shortly after Barro pushes back on her point in that context.
Quickbooks has added 'buy now, pay later' as an option on invoices. Not feeling great about the state of the economy, TBH.
Here's my question - is this Charlie Weis Jr. or a genetically combined clone of Aaron Rodgers and Mark Wahlberg? He doesn't look like his dad, but I'm definitely getting top half / bottom half Marky Rodgers vibes.
Ahh, dating on the apps in 2026 as a liberal, affirming Christian. There are so many like me out there, maybe even 10, or 12, who knows! If you're curious, I did find out what it meant 20 seconds after taking this screenshot when the chat disappeared as she unmatched.
Just over TWENTY years after college freshman Jake took advantage of Dreamhost's referral codes and plastered his on every web hosting review site he could find, the final reward payment has arrived. It hasn't been more than a few dollars in a decade plus, but honestly great ROI.
Can someone explain to me why cat does this? Front cat frequently goes to back cat for licks. BC gives licks, but also often grabs FC or clamps down with teeth. BC doesn't seem to be attacking. Why cat? Why?
I would like to say that 2026 will be the year I hit a 150 day Wordle hard-mode streak, but I just had a 50/50 on the 6th guess on Jan 1. Hit it, but that's a close call to start the year!
Just finished reading Iain Banks' Consider Phlebas. Enjoyed the read but found the ending really unsatisfying. I went to add it to GoodReads and discovered I read it in 2015 and left the same review I would now. Glad I'm consistent, but not a great sign for my memory!
Tasting notes - still good. A little bit skunky but not bad, lots of caramel and flavors I expect from this beer. Chocolate and caramel tend to strengthen with age. Coffee, incidentally, fades (my most common old beer is Founders KBS). Slightly sour finish. Not bad.
Good pour. Still carbonated and this never really poured with a head. Smells good, I drank this new and it's familiar. Always get a lot of sediment with these older bottles. Yeast? Could be the beer breaking down? Pro-tip: pour gently and leave the last ounce in the bottle.
So, what's the oldest beer you've ever had? This one was bottled before Trump was even a serious presidential candidate! High gravity ales that aren't hop-forward do age well, although 11 years is a new record for me. This is a wheatwine ale called Pilgrim's Dole.
Still entertained that Drudge is the granddaddy of all these far-right news sites but has been consistently out on Trump for years. Don't have to hand it to him, but definitely a contrast.
I loved The Mummy. I'm a fan of Fraser. I'd love for this to do well. It just doesn't seem very likely to, and that's a bummer.
The Tigers best stretch comes, probably not coincidentally, just before we went to the 2012 World Series.
